Best solution for my roots!
This is my new solution for my roots. I don't need all over color evey time that I need a root touch up and this is the perfect solution. It's way better than the temporary root recommendations. The kit was great too. It includes a small bown and brush with 2 applications. I also have been wanting to try the conditioning treatment that was included. I don't know if I even need the all over color. Truth be told, I'll order the all over color just for the amazing shampoo/conditioner. It's the best!

I've been using Root Reboot in Vernazza 4-C for a few years now for the very resistant grey I have between salon visits. Because it's so resistant, I leave the product on for 60 minutes to get complete coverage. It lasts about 2 weeks, which is what the product says it will do. I'm very happy with the product. But when the Root Touch Up Kit was available, I was so excited to try it and compare. I got a shade darker (in Spoleto 4N) than was recommended based on my profile. I mixed as directed and then applied the Root Touch Up Kit product. It was all very easy (Root Reboot is also a very easy mix and apply process). Instead of my usual 60 minutes, I only left the Root Touch Up Kit product on my hair about 15-20 minutes total. I got complete grey coverage in less than half the time, which is wonderful! I love the new Root Touch Up Kit product, and I loved that I decided to get the Spoleto 4N instead of the Calabria 5N (just my personal preference). I would like a tad more product for each of the two applications as it was just barely enough. I will just be extra careful when I apply in the future. Overall, I am extremely happy with the new product; so happy I will be changing my subscription from Root Reboot to the Root Touch Up Kit. It's an excellent new product in my opinion. My hair looked great, felt great, and it's going on week 2 and grey coverage is still looking good.

Improved formula!
This new version of Root Touch Up actually covers my stubborn grays (in 12 minutes)! The instructions say to finish applying the product in 5 minutes - I'm not sure I achieved that, but it all worked out. I like that they now provide two applications per box and that each application provides sufficient product to cover the crown, around the face and the neck area that shows when your hair is up. The box I received provided the new Color Therapy Mask (no color version) to use instead of conditioner - I got a good result with moisturized and shiny hair.
